This is the Porsche Macan, an SUV that sits below the Cayenne 4x4 and is due to go on sale next year.
Previously codenamed Cajun, following a pepper theme from the bigger Cayenne, Porsche have opted for Macan, which is an Indonesian word for tiger.
The Macan will be heavily based on the Audi Q5 and is likely to be offered with petrol, diesel and hybrid drivetrain technology.

'The Macan combines all sports car characteristics with the benefits of an SUV and is a genuine Porsche', said Bernhard Maier, executive vice president of sales and marketing.
'The name of a new Porsche has to fit with the brand, sound good in very many languages and dialects and evoke positive associations,' he added.
