Infiniti has revealed prices and specifications for its FX range.
Prices start at £42,600 for the FX37 GT with standard equipment that includes leather upholstery, electric steering column adjustment, 'Scratch Shield' self-repairing paint and an electric glass sunroof and heated, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats.
There's also a sophisticated entertainment system, incorporating a 2GB music hard drive, USB connection, Bluetooth, voice recognition and a rear-view camera.
For an extra £2000, the FX37 S has a more sophisticated suspension system, 14-way driver's seat adjustment, sports front seats, larger alloy wheels and dark chrome exterior trim.
Both of the FX37 models use the same 3.7-litre V6 petrol engine, linked to a seven-speed automatic gearbox and 'intelligent' four-wheel drive.
The range-topping FX50 S costs £53,800 and gets a 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine. Extra kit includes a rear-wheel steering system, 'intelligent' cruise control and brake assist, and a 30GB entertainment package with satellite-navigation, 10GB music capacity, DVD playback and an upgraded stereo.
There's also an 'Around View Monitor', which links cameras to generate a 360° external view on a display screen.
The Infiniti FX is available to order now, with deliveries starting from September.
