Here is the first picture of the production version of the Honda Insight, which will go on sale next Spring.

The five-seat, five-door car has previously been seen only in concept form, and this image shows how the US version of the car will look. The European version of the car is not expected to differ substantially.

The hybrid car is expected to combine electric power with a small petrol engine and to go on sale from around £15,000, substantially under-cutting its main rival, the Toyota Prius.
