Total recall?
I've just bought a 2005 Toyota Corolla 1.4 Colour Collection T3, and was wondering how to find out if there are any outstanding recalls on the car. Do I just phone Toyota and ask?

Your local Toyota dealership should be able to tell you if any recalls affect your car, and whether or not these issues have already been rectified.

You will probably be asked for the vehicle identification number (VIN), so find this out before phoning – it can be found on the V5C registration document, or stamped somewhere on the car's body (the exact location should be specified in the owner's manual).

You can also find out if any recalls affected your model by visiting Vosa.gov.uk
