The all-new Range Rover Sport will be launched in New York later this month on the eve of the New York motor show.
It will be available with seven seats for the first time.
The current car is based on a Land Rover Discovery platform, while this new model is built on the latest Range Rover chassis. The reduction in weight will help cut emissions and boost average economy, while offering improved performance.
We expect the Sport to feature more aggressive styling than the new Range Rover, while the teaser photo appears to show a more steeply raked roof.
Prices and performance figures will be revealed when the 2013 Range Rover Sport is launched on March 26.
