Toyota has pulled the wraps off a seven-seater version of next year's new RAV4.
At the moment, Toyota says there are no plans to offer UK buyers the car, which it unveiled at the
Las Vegas SEMA Motor Show, alongside January's new five-seater RAV4.
The seven-seater features a wheelbase stretched by 100mm to allow room for the third-row pair of
seats. Like Toyota's Verso seven-seater MPV, these fold flat into the floor when not in use.
The five-seater RAV4 goes on sale in the UK in January. It's powered by a 150bhp 2.0-litre petrol, or one of two turbodiesels, offering 134bhp or 175bhp.
A new, simpler seat folding system called Easy-Flat means just one handle has to be tugged to get rid of the middle row of seats and increase boot space.
More space between the front and rear wheels means there's much more room in the cabin, but Toyota claims the newcomer is more manoeuvrable with a tighter turning circle for negotiating car parks.
