Q: I've heard about recalls for the Mazda 6 concerning airbags. How can I find out more about? My 6 has an airbag warning light on.

A: whatcar.com's recall page allows you to check what recalls have been issued, so that you can make sure the work's been done. Visit www.whatcar.com/recalls for more information.
In this case the airbag fault, recall number R/2007/032, affects the Mazda Premacy ('01-'04) as well as the Mazda 6 ('02-'07), and may cause the airbag to become disabled or deploy without cause. Only a few vehicles were affected, but the recall does specify the vehicle identification numbers of cars with a potential problem.
