Renault improves specifications across the range
Renault has announced upgrades to the Clio and Captur models, as well as a new gearbox on the Twingo city car...
The French manufacturer is making DAB radio standard on all Clios and Capturs fitted with its MediaNav infotainment system, meaning that all but the entry-level editions of both vehicles get digital radio included.
The MediaNav system is also getting an upgrade to include Bluetooth audio streaming, traffic information and Siri connectivity for compatible iPhones.
The premium R-Link system gets a tweak too, with a clearer and more sensitive touchscreen that allows multi-finger inputs such as ‘pinch to zoom’.
The Twingo, meanwhile, is getting Renault’s EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission as an option on the TCe90 engine, for £900. It operates in an automatic mode, and includes hill start assist.
