Renault has added new trims to its Espace MPV range, which now kicks off with a cheaper entry-level Team model.
Team trim replaces Authentique and Expression specifications, and is priced from £18,595 with the 140bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine. Standard equipment includes dual-zone air-conditioning, seven seats, a CD stereo with steering wheel-mounted controls, electrically heated and operated door mirrors and a full complement of airbags.
Dynamique specification continues and the price is unchanged. It costs from £22,390 for a 170bhp 2.0-litre petrol car, and has alloy wheels, climate control, rear parking sensors, a heat-reflecting windscreen, tinted windows and chrome and leather detailing.
Dynamique S is the second of the new trims and costs from £24,410 with the 170bhp 2.0-litre engine. An upgraded stereo with six-CD changer, part-leather/Alcantara upholstery, folding door mirrors, electric rear windows, automatic headlights and wipers and cruise control are added to the equipment list.
Top-of-the-range Initiale trim continues as before, with prices starting from £29,835 for a 150bhp diesel. Leather upholstery, six 'captain's' chairs, electric adjustment for the front seats and satellite-navigation are among the treats in these models.
Two new diesel automatic options are also now available. The six-speed automatic gearbox is available from £23,390 with the 150bhp 2.0-litre engine in Team trim, while 175bhp versions cost from £26,335 in Dynamique specification.
