Renault has launched special-edition versions of its new Clio and Mégane.
The 'World Series by Renault' models are based Dynamique trim - the most popular in the Clio, Mégane Hatch and Coupé ranges.
The Clio World Series by Renault adds an extended front spoiler, side skirts, a sports rear bumper and special badging. There’s a choice of 1.2 petrol engines in 74bhp or turbocharged 99bhp form, or the 1.5-litre dCi 86 diesel. Prices start at £12,170, which Renault says saves £680 on the price of the equipment if ordered separately.
The Mégane Hatch World Series by Renault also features an extended front spoiler, along with Coupé-style bumper inserts, side skirts, a sports rear bumper, rear spoiler, badging and 17-inch alloy wheels. There's a choice of a 1.6-litre petrol or 1.5-litre diesel engine, both with a six-speed manual gearbox. Prices start at £16,595, which represents a £1,190 saving on the price of the equipment ordered separately.
The Mégane Coupé World Series by Renault features the same makeover as the hatchback and is available with the same engines. Prices start at £16,995, representing a £940 saving over ordering the extra kit separately.
