Renault's cute electric city car, the Zoe, will go on sale in spring 2012 for around £13,000.
That pricetag includes the £5000 Government subsidy given to electric cars. However, buyers won't own the expensive battery pack, and will have to lease it from Renault for around another £70 per month.
The car that goes on sale next year will stay pretty faithful to the concept car revealed at the Paris motor show in 2010. However, the glass roof on the concept car is unlikely to make it onto the production car, although the seats with integrated headrests will. The touch-screen control panel may be enlarged for the production car, too.
However, we won't find out the shape or position of the battery pack until the production car is revealed next year.
