Rover refocuses its line up - CityRover

Rover had hoped to sell 30,000 CityRovers across Europe this year. However, it postponed launches outside of the UK and sold just 6000 in this country.

The manufacturer said that the Indian-built, Tata Indica-based CityRover has taken a step up in quality for 2005, and it will also be cheaper and better equipped.

While it did not reveal specifics, we expect to see prices drop by at least £500 to make it more competitive with rivals like the Fiat Panda.

The What Car? Target Price shows that massive discounts of around 25% are currently available across the range.
