Saab has announced prices for its 9-3X 'crossover', which is available to order now.
The new model is based on the 9-3 Sport Wagon estate, but features raised ground clearance and a chunky, SUV-style makeover with extra cladding on the bumpers, side sills and wheelarches.
Starting point for the range is the 1.9 TTiD model, which costs £24,995 and features a 178bhp diesel engine and front-wheel drive. An automatic gearbox comes as a £1371 option.
The other option is the 2.0T XWD, which has a 207bhp turbocharged petrol engine and four-wheel drive as standard. In manual form it costs £25,995, with a £1511 premium for the automatic version.
All cars come with part-leather and heated front seats, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, matt chrome roof rails and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Deliveries of the 9-3X are expected to start in August.
