For Cheap to buy, nicely built and easy to use.
Against It would be quicker to use an A-Z, the cradle is awful and the screen isn't much use in sunlight.
Verdict Cheap, but you'll wish you spent extra for a more competent unit.

This is the cheapest unit here by some margin, but there's a good reason for that - it isn't very good.

The software was the same as in the X430, but this unit was much slower through the menus, and the maps were often well behind the car's position.

Worst, though, was the cradle, which it shared with the X430. It suckered well to the window, but there was so much play in the adjustments that it vibrated violently, even on smooth roads.

That made the slow, jerky maps even more difficult to follow.

On the positive side, the X350 was easy to use, thanks to a simple menu system and good postcode entry.

A rubberised finish gave it a feel of quality, and the voice commands were easy to follow and didn't get on our nerves.

In normal conditions the X350's screen was satisfactory, but it was one of the least visible in sunlight.
