The Government's scrappage scheme – which was announced in April's Budget – starts today.
The scrappage scheme gives buyers a £2000 incentive towards a new car if they scrap their current vehicle - providing it's over 10 years old.
The cash incentive is split 50/50 between the Government and car makers. Although it's a voluntary scheme, most major manufacturers have confirmed that they will support it.
