Ford has backed the scrappage scheme, sweetening deals further with its own promotions, which run to the end of June.

Offers include free options and equipment packages with selected models, 0% APR finance deals and reductions in insurance. Discounts – in addition to the scrappage £2000 – include an extra £1,250 off the Fusion Style, £2000 off the Focus and C-MAX Style, £2,500 off the Mondeo and S-MAX Edge, and £3000 off the Galaxy Edge.
