Seat reveals Leon Cross Sport at Frankfurt motor show

Seat has introduced a new concept car at the Frankfurt motor show.

Based on the three-door Leon SC hatchback, the Leon Cross Sport could hint at a future high-riding hot hatchback from the Spanish car firm.

It features several styling upgrades over the regular Leon SC, including black extended wheel arches and sills, larger air intakes, a new exhaust and a roof spoiler.

It's also raised up by 41mm over the standard car, and features permanent four-wheel drive.

Power comes from the same engine as used in the Volkswagen Golf R hot hatchback. It's a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor with 286bhp.
