Seat's three-door Ibiza SportCoupe will cost from £8595 - that's £400 less than the five-door version of the new Ibiza.
The car will also take on the five-door car's trim names: S, SE, and Sport.
Equipment levels will also be identical. S versions will get height- and reach-adjustable steering, power steering, electric front windows, six airbags, central locking, an MP3-compatible CD player and steering wheel-mounted controls.
SE cars also get body-coloured door mirrors and handles, heated wing mirrors, electric rear windows, cruise control, air-con, a trip computer, a height-adjustable passenger seat and 15-inch alloy wheels.
Sport models have sports suspension, sports seats, 16-inch alloy wheels and a leather-clad steering wheel.
A £250 Convenience Pack is available on SE and Sport models, which adds rear parking sensors and rain-sensing wipers.
Buyers can also choose a £280 package that has stability control, brake assist, tyre pressure monitors and a hill-hold function.
The £210 SE Design Pack comprises a folding centre arm rest, storage pack and leather-covered steering wheel.
