Mini One
Few cars can match the Mini convertible’s desirability and, as a result, its cast-iron residual values. The conversion to a soft-top hasn’t done too much to mar the Mini’s superb drive, while the interior, although rather impractical, is brilliantly built.

VW Beetle
The VW Beetle cabriolet doesn’t win any marks for the way it drives, but as a stylish, well-made and affordable drop-top cruiser, it’s hard to fault. Thanks to a recent face-lift, it looks better than ever, while the interior is roomy and classy.

Audi A4
Some wide-ranging updates have just made Audi’s A4 Cabriolet better than ever. Revised front-end styling has freshened the already classy looks, while chassis tweaks and new engines have made it better to drive. The outstanding interior quality and impeachable image remain.
