Honda claims that the four-door Civic Hybrid is 20% more powerful and 5% more economical than the Civic IMA it replaces. Figures of 113bhp and 61.4mpg on the combined are claimed.

Based on the Accent SR concept car, the new Accent will feature a sportier look than its predecessor, with a curvy front end. The contemporary looks and better quality should appeal to the masses.

The Caliber might look like a small MPV or compact 4x4 but its dimensions put it at the top of the small family car sector against models such as the Golf Plus.
