Seven new models from Mercedes in 2008 - SL-eek new look

05 December 2007
The biggest styling revisions are reserved for the new SL-Class, which is due in the spring. It gets a completely new front end with squarer, flatter styling intended.

As with the other models, a larger front grille with an enlarged three pointed star will feature, along with a new headlamp arrangement which will separate the indicator lights from the main headlamps.

Along the flanks, a triple louvre air outlet sits just behind the front wheel, which will be chrome in the range-topping V12 version.

At the back, a mock diffuser under the revised bumper and new horizontal styling lines will give the car a lower, squatter look.

New instruments, updated seats, a three-spoke steering wheel and a revised 'air sock' seat heating system feature inside.
