The
Toledo is likely to offer similar cabin space to the Altea, but boot space should be greater.
Practicality is bolstered by a 60/40 split rear seat, which also features a large centre armrest complete with cup holders and a table.
With the seats in place, the boot offers 500 litres of space, which is 111 litres more than the Altea can manage. Like the MPV, the floor can be folded back to reveal some concealed stowage space underneath. The parcel shelf also has a lower level to house small items in the boot out of view.
Specification levels haven’t been announced yet but will follow the same Reference, Stylance, Sport pattern as the Altea. Equipment levels are unlikely to vary from the MPV, so expect every car to come with six airbags, air-conditioning, remote central locking and a CD player which can play MP3 formatted discs.
Bluetooth options mean appropriate mobile phones will wirelessly communicate with the car and provide entirely hands-free operation. Owners will be able to operate their phone, including any voice-activated functions, from steering-wheel mounted controls.
