Sharper Toledo grows into a hatch - Introduction

10 August 2004
Seat launches a striking new family hatchback early next year in the shape of the all-new Toledo.

Midway in size between a Volkswagen Golf and a Passat, or a Ford Focus and a Mondeo, the new Toledo is bigger than the saloon it replaces in every dimension.

Although it’s as wide and as tall as the company’s Altea MPV, it stands apart from its sibling with an extra 200mm between tip and tail with an overall length of 4500mm.

Prices are likely to rise slightly from the current Toledo range, kicking off at around £13,500. Read through our special report to find out more.
