The top 50 workshops have been shortlisted in the Golden Garage competition run by the Motor Code for service and repair.

Singled out by positive reviews from motorists, the 50 garages - five from each of 10 regions around the country - will now be whittled down to a last round of 10 in a public vote running to Sunday, March 13.

You can find the shortlist of 50 garages and vote for your favourite on the Golden Garage website.

Once the field is reduced to 10 a winner will be selected by a panel of judges including What Car? Editor-in-Chief Steve Fowler.

The Motor Code for service and repair is a voluntary code of conduct with more than 6500 member workshops from around the UK. It aims to provide motorists with peace of mind in choosing a garage they can trust.
