27 February 2013

  • Bargain-priced city car…
  • …gets sporty makeover
  • On sale now from £9725

The Skoda Citigo Sport

This is the Skoda Citigo Sport, a sporty version of one of our favourite city cars.

The Citigo Sport is based on SE trim, and has either three doors or five. It's powered by the 59bhp 1.0-litre MPI petrol engine linked to a five-speed manual gearbox.

Sport models get new front and rear spoilers, a rear diffuser and a stripe over the bonnet, roof and tailgate. There are also stripes on the doors and mirrors.

In addition to the sporty bodykit, Sport cars have front foglights, tinted windows and 15-inch alloy wheels. They're also 15mm lower than other Citigos.

Three colourschemes are available: Candy White with red stripes, Tornado Red with black stripes and Deep Black with red stripes.

Inside, the Citigo Sport gets black and red sports seats, a three-spoke leather-trimmed steering wheel with red stitching, leather-trimmed gearlever and matching floor mats.

All Sport models get a five-inch touch-screen infotainment system, that provides sat-nav, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity.

The Skoda Citigo Sport is on sale now; the three-door costs £9725 while the five-door is £10,075.
