Skoda has cut prices on the majority of its petrol-engined Octavia models, and has introduced a new trim level to 1.6 FSI petrol models.
The price cuts are effective immediately, and apply to both hatchback and estate versions. The cuts mean a saving of £725 on Ambiente and Elegance versions with the 1.6-litre FSI engine, bringing the prices to £12,990 and £13,990 respectively.
At the same time, Skoda has introduced a new trim level for vehicles with this engine. The Classic versions include power steering, electric front windows and door mirrors, air-conditioning, driver and passenger airbags and central locking. The new model cost £11,990 for the hatchback and £12,480 for the estate.
Skoda has also reduced prices on Octavia Sport 2.0 FSI models by £350, bringing the list price to £15,800. Prices for the 2.0i FSI vRS models remain unchanged.
In addition to the changes to the Octavia range, Skoda has also brought in a new trim for its Superb range. Comfort trim is now available for 105bhp 1.9 TDI PD models. It has also introduced the 2.5-litre V6 TDI Tiptronic engine to Classic and Comfort Superbs, too.
