The Skoda Octavia Estate will be at the Geneva motor show next week, but What Car? has been given access to the new car for an early photoshoot.
With the rear seats in place the Octavia Estate offers 610 litres of boot space – 80 litres more than is offered by a Ford Mondeo Estate. With the rear seats folded down, its boot capacity grows to 1740 litres, which is 140 more than the Volvo V70's.
The dashboard is dominated by a wide centre console, which uses premium materials and features a touch-screen infotainment system.
It will get the same engine choices as the hatchback: 1.2- or 1.4-litre petrols and 1.6- and 2.0-litre diesels.
The Octavia Estate goes on sale in June and will cost from around £17,000.
