Skoda's green concept car

03 September 2007

Skoda will highlight its green credentials with the Fabia Greenline at this year's Frankfurt motor show.

The concept car has been built to demonstrate Skoda's ability to produce economical and environmentally friendly vehicles. It emits 110g per kilometre of carbon dioxide and records 69 miles per gallon.

That compares with Volkswagen's most frugal Polo Bluemotion, which is also in the small family car class, which emits 99g/km of CO2 and records 70.4mpg.

A Fabia Estate Scout concept car will also be shown alongside the new Fabia Estate. The concept will be two-wheel drive and feature styling similar to that seen on the Roomster and Octavia Scout.
