The Skoda Yeti SUV will be officially unveiled at next month's Geneva motor show.
The Nissan Qashqai and Fiat Sedici rival will be available in both four- and front-wheel-drive versions.
Many of its parts are taken from the Volkswagen Tiguan, and it is expected to be powered by a range of engines similar to those used in the VW.
Skoda will also display the eco special Octavia Greenline. Powered by a 105bhp 1.6-litre diesel engine with 184lb ft of pulling power, it will average 64.2mpg and have CO2 emissions of just 116g/km.
