Smart has launched an online community website for owners and fans.
The new website, destinationsmart.co.uk, will give Smart owners and enthusiasts the chance to interact with each other through a social network site devoted solely to the quirky brand.
Membership to the community is free and allows users to create a profile, upload videos and photos, contribute to forums and post event listings.
Smart will also contribute editorial to the website, with regular news stories covering its cars and related subjects such as eco-driving.
Members will also be able to interact directly with Smart through the site's 'ask an expert' feature. Users can submit questions about their vehicle and be guaranteed a personal reply from one of Smart's experts.
Dermot Kelly, managing director of Mercedes-Benz UK, said: 'We know from research that Smart owners and enthusiasts like interacting online and it’s a valuable opportunity for us to get first-hand insight into how our brand is perceived.'
