The sportiest Kia Proceed yet will join the three-door hatchback's range next summer.
Power will come from a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine that's also used in the Hyundai Veloster Turbo. Its power output is likely to be around 200bhp.
Performance figures haven't been revealed, but a 0-62mph time of around 7.0 seconds is likely.
Prices have yet to be announced, but it's thought the sporty Proceed will top the range with a price of around £23,000.
It's likely to come with sideskirts and a rear spoiler, but will not have the bonnet scoop featured on the Veloster Turbo.
Sporty styling additions are expected inside as well, with a spokesman saying Recaro (or similarly sporty) seats are likely to feature. Revised suspension will give the hot Proceed a sportier driving experience.
