SsangYong has slashed the prices of spare parts for its Kyron, Rexton and Rodius models by an average of 40% in a bid to reduce the cost of ownership.
The announcement follows a review by SsangYong distributor Koelliker UK, which started running the company this year.
In addition, dealers will now hold a bigger parts stock to minimise time off the road for servicing.
Doug Lincoln, Koelliker UK's aftersales boss, said: 'This is about customer satisfaction and reducing the costs of ownership at a time when fuel prices are going the other way.
'For example, the cost of servicing a Rexton over 30,000 miles is now over £100 cheaper, making it less expensive than a Kia Sorento.'
Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
