The fifth-generation LS models arrive in January, with the first being a 375bhp 4.6-litre V8. Later, there'll be a hybrid LS600h for about £10,000 more. Being a Lexus, it'll have every conceivable extra and the company's excellent after-sales package.

Rolls-Royce Corniche
On sale Autumn
Price £300,000
Although the Corniche name has not been confirmed, the production car is very likely to be pretty much the same as the 100EX concept car. It'll have a softer version of the Phantom's grille and retain the rear-hinged doors. A coupe version could follow soon after.
