A stolen Land Rover Defender was recovered by police just 12 minutes later, thanks to a tracking device.
The Skytag-equipped Defender was stolen today at 2.47am in Oldham, Manchester, but was successfully recovered at 2.59am after police were guided to within five metres of the car's location.
Skytag says it's the fastest time in which a stolen car has ever been recovered using its GPS system, which also boasts a 100% success rate. The system costs £234 to install followed by a £6.99 monthly subscription.
