Citroen is promoting the launch of its C2 Stop & Start supermini with a cashback deal to beat the London Congestion Charge.
The Stop & Start switches off its engine when the car is at a standstill, meaning it cuts carbon dioxide emissions and saves fuel in heavy traffic.
The car isn't exempt from the congestion charge, but the company is offering a £1696 cashback deal on both the C2 and C3 Stop and Start cars in April and in May, the equivalent of one year of paying the charge.
Fitted with the 1.4 90bhp engine and Sensodrive auto gearbox, the C2 Stop & Start costs £10,690 without the cashback deal and includes air-con, rear parking sensors, curtain airbags and automatic headlamps and wipers on its standard kit list.
