Land Rover is bringing 500 special-edition Freelanders to the UK early next year, with prices starting at £33,945.

The SD4 Sport Limited Edition is available in white, black and, for the first time in the range, a red finish, which the company calls Firenze Red.

Buyers can pick between black leather seats with contrasting stitching or with a contrasting white stripe. Black carpets also have contrasting edges.

The cars also have a rear spoiler, 19-inch alloy wheels and privacy glass. Front and rear parking sensors are standard, while the car is available only with an automatic transmission.

Power comes from the latest 188bhp diesel, which can take the car from 0-60mph in 8.7 seconds and to a top speed of 118mph. Average economy is 40.4mpg and CO2 emissions are 185g/km.
