Subaru BRZ specs and prices announced
The BRZ will be available in either SE or SE Lux trim. An entry-level BRZ S will be offered in 2013.
A manual gearbox comes as standard, but an automatic version with paddle shift is available for £1500 extra.
SE gets 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, leather-trimmed steering wheel and six-speaker sound system with iPod connectivity.
SE Lux adds heated leather seats. The SE Lux manual will cost £26,495, the automatic will be £27,995.
There are just two optional extras, sat-nav at £1000 and a special paint finish costing £500.
Six colours will be available, Satin White Pearl, Sterling Silver Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic, Crystal Black Silica, San Remo Red, and WR Blue Mica.
Every car comes complete with Subaru’s Everything Taken Care of (ETCo) add on, which includes minor dent and scratch repairs, alloy wheel repairs, a monthly wash, an annual valet, lost keys replacement, service collection and delivery, and an annual wheel alignment check at no extra cost.
ETCo also offers the first MoT test free and winter wheel and tyre storage free of charge.
The Subaru BRZ is virtually identical to the Toyota GT86, which also starts at £24,995.
