The Subaru Viziv concept car has been unveiled at the Geneva motor show.
Subaru says the Viziv will reveal the company's design direction and vision for technological innovation.
The concept car is described as a 'future-generation crossover'.
Subaru's single sketch of the Viziv displays similarities to its Hybrid Tourer Concept that was shown at the Tokyo motor show in 2009.
The sketch reveals a trapezoidal grille, and headlights with LED elements. No details have been released on the car's powertrain or size.
The Subaru Outback will also be on show at the Geneva show. Its 2.0-litre Boxer diesel engine is now paired with its Lineartronic (CVT) transmission for the first time, to help improve efficiency and provide smoother gearshifts.
The Outback diesel Lineartronic is due to arrive in the UK this autumn.
