Subaru WRX STI drops name, gains saloon

The Subaru WRX STI drops its 'Impreza' name for the 2011 year model, while a four-door will also be available, alongside the hatch for the first time in three years.
Both cost £32,995 and are on sale now.
The updated car has a stiffened body shell and reworked suspension. Ride height has been lowered and the wheels are wider than the current models, which, according to Subaru, is to improve the car's handling and appearance.
Subaru also says that the quality of the cabin has been upgraded and that there are new Recaro bucket seats. Poor cabin quality was one of our criticisms of the previous car.
Under the bonnet there's the same 2.5-litre boxer engine, which Subaru says it has tweaked for improved torque delivery, better response and more linear acceleration.
