The new Suzuki Kizashi saloon will cost £21,995 when it appears in showrooms in January.
Billed as a rival for the Ford Mondeo, the Suzuki Kizashi family saloon is powered by a 176bhp 2.4-litre petrol engine, and comes with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) as standard. It has an average fuel economy of 34mpg and CO2 emissions of 191g/km, so sits in road tax band J.
All Kizashis come with four-wheel drive. However most of the power is fed through the rear wheels under acceleration and then varies depending on the conditions. The system also can be switched to front-wheel-drive mode.
The single Sport trim comes with electrically adjustable heated seats, cruise and climate controls, Bluetooth and a USB port. Front foglights, 18-inch alloys and metallic paint are also included, while a touch-screen sat-nav system is available as an option.
Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
