Suzuki will show a new SUV concept at the 2012 Paris motor show. In production form the S-Cross would be a rival for cars such as the Nissan Qashqai and VW Tiguan.
The concept car is based on an all-new platform, and would sit between the small SX4 SUV and the larger Grand Vitara.
Suzuki has yet to confirm whether or not the S-Cross will make production, but Suzuki’ recent concepts – the Kizashi in 2007 and the Swift-S in 2011 – both made it to production shortly afterwards.
Suzuki will reveal more details at the S-Cross’s debut at the Paris show on September 27.
The face-lifted Grand Vitara and Jimny SUV will also appear on Suzuki's Paris show stand. The Jimny will go on sale by the end of 2012, while the Grand Vitara appears early in 2013, complete with a new interior and a refreshed front end.
