Suzuki has revealed its all-new Swift Sport – the hot version of its Swift supermini – which will be unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show next month.
The Sport is powered by a 134bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine – the outgoing Swift Sport has a 123bhp 1.6. There’s a six-speed manual gearbox, along with tweaked suspension for sharper handling.
The exterior makeover includes a bespoke front bumper and alloy wheels. No details of the interior have been released, but we’d expect additional metallic trim and sporty seats.
Standard equipment will include seven airbags (including curtain- and driver’s knee airbags) and stability control.
Suzuki hasn’t announced a price yet, but we don't expect it to be significantly more than the £12,995 of the current Swift Sport.
The Swift Sport is expected to go on sale in the UK later this year.
