This is the first look at Suzuki's new Grand Vitara off-roader, which goes on sale in the UK in September.
Once again available as a three- or five-door car, the new Vitara will be bigger than the current version and better equipped. Expect prices to rise £1500 above current levels and start at around £13,500.
Initially, the three-door model will only be available with a 1.6-litre petrol engine, while the five-door will come with the choice of a 2.0-litre petrol or a 1.9-litre diesel. A 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine is anticipated to join the range in 2006.
All models will feature permanent four-wheel drive with low-range gear ratios for better off-road ability.
Pricing and specification information will be announced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September where the model makes its debut.
