A new limited edition makes the Smart Fortwo more distinctive than ever. The Limited Three model is based on the 70bhp Passion model, but adds bespoke paintwork and trim for an even funkier look.
It's available in both coupe and cabriolet bodystyles, both of which feature melon green metallic paintwork, offset by silver-coloured panels. Six-spoke alloy wheels and aluminium-effect logos complete the external makeover.
Inside, there's a unique striped upholstery design and brown leather-effect inserts for the doors and instrument panel. There's also dark brown leather trim for the gearknob and special sports steering wheel. You still have to pay extra for a glove compartment and power steering, however.
At £9950 for the coupe and £11,900 for the cabriolet, the Limited Three costs £1432 more than the model it's based on.
Smart's 'micro hybrid drive' system helps to keep running costs down, however. Don't be fooled by the name – it's simply an engine stop/start system that helps to achieve average fuel economy of 65.7mpg and CO2 emissions of 103g/km.
