Welcome to the Towcar Awards 2007.

We've rigorously tested a total of 50 cars - more than any other towcar test programme - which we specifically selected for their combination of solo credentials and towcar promise, whether you've got a caravan, boat, horsebox or trailer.

We've organised all the cars by weight - that's so that you can choose a safe and legal match for whatever kind of caravan or trailer you use.

There's something here for everyone, from £10,000 to £50,000. Don't miss our class winners and our overall champion.

• Remember, for safety's sake, never tow a trailer that is more than your car's kerbweight - for caravans, it should ideally never be more than 85% of your car's kerbweight, provided this doesn't exceed the car's maximum towing weight.
