Toyota chief: Good time for car buyers

Now is a great time to find an excellent deal on a new car, according to the Managing Director of Toyota GB, Miguel Fonseca.

Fonseca says that because the car buying market has been so slow recently, manufacturers will have to offer keen discounts and special offers in an effort to sell off excess stock.

He told Whatcar.com: "The market is down, in fact, more than we expected. Manufacturers are doing crazy things, so now is definitely a good time for buyers."

Fonseca claims that Toyota won't be hit as hard as other manufacturers, because it doesn't have as much excess stock as other carmakers.
