Toyota has revealed a special-edition Yaris, called TR.

Available with either a 1.3-litre petrol or a 1.4-litre diesel engine, the Yaris TR is based on T3 models.

That means you get seven airbags, a CD changer and air-conditioning, but TR models cost £500 less and come with extra styling touches such as 15-inch alloy wheels, front foglamps and silver door handles.

Prices start at £9995 for a 1.3-litre three-door Yaris TR, rising to £11,445 for the 1.4 D-4D five-door. Opt for Chilli Red paint and Toyota will knock off a further £500.
