Toyota has upgraded its Verso SR MPV, giving it more equipment and options.
Front parking sensors have been added as standard, in addition to the ones already fitted at the rear. There's also now a proximity indicator on the dashboard to show how close the car is to other obstacles.
The SR also gets new 16-inch alloy wheels and an in-dash six-CD changer.
As an option, Toyota is making its ICE in-car entertainment system available for £940. This comprises two seven-inch screens, which fit to the back of the front headrests for viewing DVDs or games consoles.
The Verso SR is on sale now, with a choice of 1.8-litre petrol or 2.2-litre diesel engines. The 1.8 is available with a semi-automatic gearbox option.
Prices for the SR have been increased by £25-50 and now begin at £17,545.
Prices
Verso SR 1.8 manual £17,545
Verso SR 1.8 semi-auto £18,045

• Toyota has also upgraded the Verso T-Spirit model to include dark-tinted rear privacy glass as standard.
