Internet broker Broadspeed.com will sell you two Kia Magentis saloons for the price of one.
Choose the 2.0i GS and you’ll pay just £15,220 for two, which means each Megentis costs just £7610. That’s cheaper than a new Ford Ka!
It might be the entry-level model, but you get a fair amount of kit – alloy wheels, air-conditioning, electric windows and a CD player all come as standard.
If you want a bit more luxury, you can buy a couple of 2.0i LS models for £16,675 (£8338 each). LS trim adds leather seats, climate control, rear parking sensors and stability control.
The cars are pre-registered, which means your name won’t be the first one on the logbook (V5C), but don’t let that put you off because they are effectively new, and have fewer than 20 miles on the clock.
The Magentis isn’t great, but if you’re on a tight budget and want to buy new, this deal is certainly worth a look.
As good as it is, though – we’d probably look out for a three-year-old Volkswagen Passat 1.9TDI SE, or two-year-old Mazda 6 2.0 TS. Both are better cars, and can be snapped up for similar money.
