BMW will offer its Dual-Clutch Transmission gearbox on the 335i Coupe and Convertible models.
The 'box is currently available on only M3 models, but the two-door 335i models will get the gearbox this month.
However it will differ from the box on the M3 because it won't have 'Drive Logic', the technology that allows the driver to change the speed of the gearchanges.
Instead the DCT box will have a standard and 'Sports' setting.
Prices haven't been announced yet, but expect the DCT box to add a £1600 premium over manual models.
